Halifax Soil is a comprehensive range of socketless pipes and fittings which are sized between 50mm -200mm diameters and are suitable for internal soil, waste and rainwater installations. The certified system is particularly suitable for high-rise projects. An extensive variety of couplings and brackets offer flexibility to satisfy most designs.

The Halifax cast iron soil system is a socketless design which is available in 5 diameters and supplied in 3m lengths. The pipes do not require expansion joints due to the low coefficient of expansion. The Halifax Soil range offers a large selection of brackets to support and brace the cast iron pipework in both vertical and horizontal applications.
A correctly installed and maintained Halifax Drain system can be expected to last over 100 years and is 100% recyclable at the end of its life.
All Halifax Soil products have been manufactured to meet all the requirements of BS EN 877.
The system up to 200mm diameter has been tested and approved by the British Board of Agrément (BBA) Certificate No. 06/4401 for pipes and fittings.
Pipes and fittings are manufactured in grey cast iron to meet the requirements of BS EN 1561 Grade EN-GJL 150/EN-JL 1020.
The Halifax system pipes are lined internally with a two-part epoxy finish which provides improved performance when exposed to aggressive substances. The pipes in this system are coated with an average of 40 microns externally and an average of 130 microns internally. Fittings are also epoxy coated and provide a similar level of performance.
Halifax Soil coatings have been tested successfully for resistance to attack by salt water spray, wastewater, hot water cycling and solution of acid at PH2 and alkalis at PH12.
