    Product Details

The Beaded Half Round fascia bracket can only be used where the guttering is being attached to a fascia board. These cast iron gutter brackets would usually be spaced 900mm apart although additional brackets would be recommended to support fittings.

The cast iron fascia bracket forms part of our Beaded Half Round range of gutter fittings. The strong cast iron design supports the weight of the guttering with as few as two brackets per 1829mm (6′) length.

Supported by an extensive range of fittings and brackets, the Beaded Half Round profile of cast iron guttering offers everything you might need for your project whether traditional or contemporary.

Metal & Glass cast iron rainwater and soil systems are the logical choices for listed properties and conservation areas as the aesthetic appeal of cast iron satisfies all the requirements of heritage architecture.

Our standard range of cast iron gutter profiles includes Plain Half Round, Beaded Half Round, Ogee, Notts Ogee, G46 Moulded, H16 Moulded and Plain Deep Half Round. In addition to these cast iron guttering profiles, our range can be complemented with compatible products from the extensive sand cast rainwater range or alternatively unique bespoke products can be supplied to your design.

A gutter is a cast iron trough with a socket at one end and a spigot at the other for making internal and external connections to other gutter lengths and fittings, for example, outlets, that connect to a rainwater pipe. Gutters collect rainfall as it runs off the roof and allows the water to drain away from the fabric of the building into the drain pipes and then the drains. Cast iron gutters should be straight as if badly warped this makes installation problematic. As with cast iron rainwater pipes, they should have an even and consistent finish that will allow for the unobstructed flow of rainwater. Both our cast iron plain half-round and beaded half-round gutters are cast centrifugally to ensure that the gutters are straight and have an even metal thickness.

You might be considering other materials for your project but did you realise that there are a number of significant benefits of choosing a cast iron rainwater system that go beyond a traditional appearance?

Cast iron has stood the test of time and is ideally suited to both rainwater and soil drainage systems. It offers many benefits to not only yourself but also your contractor; these include:

Strength & Durability – cast iron pipe systems can be one of the most durable elements of a building and is able to withstand the rigours of on-site handling, mechanical de-blocking and most acts of vandalism. Cast iron will not deflect under loads which makes it the ideal choice for below-ground drainage, as special bedding and over-excavation of trenches are not required to withstand damage from ground movement. The renowned strength of a cast iron rainwater system also benefits by securing it against heavy snowfalls, high winds and the weight of ladders.

Quiet – the sound deadening properties of cast iron offer superior acoustic performance, this is particularly beneficial for internal piping in hospitals, hotels and apartment blocks where noises would be especially disturbing. Exterior above-ground systems will not twist or creak due to temperature changes and when correctly installed, will not rattle in high winds.
