The G46 Moulded profile of cast iron guttering is available in 2 sizes and is supplied in either a grey primer or gloss black painted finish. Lengths are supplied in 1829mm (6′) lengths and have a right-hand internal joint (when facing front) to allow continuous jointing.
Our G46 Moulded gutter profile is a bigger type of Ogee guttering which has a flat base and a more pronounced shape to the face. Being larger than the common cast iron ogee guttering the two sizes offer an increased flow rate for projects with bigger roof areas or steeper roof pitches. This is a more traditional cast iron gutter profile in the Ogee style but the large capacity makes it suitable for both conservation and modern projects. The G46 Moulded profile has a right-hand internal joint.
Our cast iron G46 Moulded guttering profile is offered in the following depths:
4″x3" = 75mm
5"x4" = 100mm
Our G46 Moulded cast iron gutter profile is available in 2 widths and offers the following flow rates:
4″x3" = has a 0.76-litre capacity
5"x4" – has a 1.56-litre capacity
It is important to note that the G46 Moulded profile has a right-hand internal joint. Unlike the common Ogee and Notts Ogee profiles, which have a larger left-hand socket, the G46 Moulded profile has a thinner right-hand internal joint. This means that anything fitting to the left will be internal and anything right external. Should you cut off the socket leaving you with a plain end on both sides you will still require internal fittings but you will need to purchase the union clip to attach them.
