The ornamental H37 cast iron rainwater hopper is an elegant design with angular detailing at the top and bottom of the main body and an angled tail leading down to the outlet which is positioned to the rear. The H37 cast head has external fixing ears on either side of the main body.
Although the tail on this head narrows it can be used for smaller sizes of square, rectangular or round outlets.
The H37 ornamental hopper is a rectangular design with balcony detailing at the top and bottom of the head. This centre panel is quite small so is not well suited for embellishment. If you are wanting to personalise your hopper head then the H11 and H97 heads are similar in design but offer a big face for embellishments.
The tail on the H37 positions the outlet at the rear of the head but it can accept smaller square, rectangular or round outlets.
The H37 design of cast iron ornamental hopper head is sized at:
416mm wide
240mm deep
460mm high
Some of our cast iron products such as the ornamental rainwater hopper heads and the rectangular and square rainwater pipes are made to order. They are available within the Metal & Glass cast iron range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales being slightly longer than our off-the-shelf stock products. They can be ordered securely via our website in exactly the same way as ex-stock products. These cast iron made-to-order items are available in both the grey primer and gloss black painted finish.
We can also offer bespoke hoppers to match original designs as well as adapt existing cast iron hoppers by changing outlet sizes and positions.
What separates Metal & Glass Limited from a number of other cast iron rainwater and soil suppliers is our ability to offer bespoke castings. Using skilled pattern makers and moulders, specialist fabricators and painters and over a century of iron casting experience Metal & Glass Limited can provide bespoke cast iron solutions for your project
We can make bespoke castings to suit any building, ancient or modern, but these skills are most in demand by the conservation, heritage and restoration market. There is no need to resort to the various forms of plastic substitutes on offer. Anything that has been cast in the past, for instance during the Victorian era, we can cast. If they could make it back then, we can make it now.
Traditional Cast Iron Foundry Products, Cast Iron Accessories and UK Castings are all from one supplier.
