The H501/L cast iron ornamental hopper looks more like something that you would plant vegetables in than collect rainwater. The tall rectangular design is somewhat less detailed than our other ornamental hoppers but we love it just the same. The simple plain design with a large flat face makes it ideal for embellishments but likewise, it certainly doesn’t lose anything by being left just as it is.
Due to the flat base, this rainwater head can be supplied with a selection of outlet options to accept round, square or rectangular cast iron pipe.
The H501/L is a genuine cast iron ornamental hopper head and is available in a selection of outlet sizes. Whilst this cast iron ornamental hopper box is fairly plain in appearance it offers a good capacity without making a fuss. If you are looking for a simple yet efficient hopper then this could be the one for you.
This cast iron rainwater head is sized at:
450mm wide
150mm deep
370mm high
Some of our cast iron products such as the ornamental rainwater hopper heads and the rectangular and square rainwater pipes are made to order. They are available within the Metal & Glass cast iron range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales being slightly longer than our off-the-shelf stock products. They can be ordered securely via our website in exactly the same way as ex-stock products. These cast iron made-to-order items are available in both the grey primer and gloss black painted finish.
We can also offer bespoke hoppers to match original designs as well as adapt existing cast iron hoppers by changing outlet sizes and positions.
What separates Metal & Glass Limited from a number of other cast iron rainwater and soil suppliers is our ability to offer bespoke castings. Using skilled pattern makers and moulders, specialist fabricators and painters and over a century of iron casting experience Metal & Glass Limited can provide bespoke cast iron solutions for your project
We can make bespoke castings to suit any building, ancient or modern, but these skills are most in demand by the conservation, heritage and restoration market. There is no need to resort to the various forms of plastic substitutes on offer. Anything that has been cast in the past, for instance during the Victorian era, we can cast. If they could make it back then, we can make it now.
Traditional Cast Iron Foundry Products, Cast Iron Accessories and UK Castings are all from one supplier.
