The H516 cast iron ornamental hopper is a narrow rectangular head. Although similar to our H523 hopper, this head has an inverted front section which makes the side turrets much more prominent. With embellishments on both the front and sides, this cast iron hopper aims to make a statement so whether your project is traditional or contemporary, this piece will get noticed.
The outlet is offset to one side and because the base of this rainwater head is flat it can be supplied with a selection of outlet options to accept round, square or rectangular cast iron pipe.
The H516 is a genuine cast iron ornamental hopper head and is available with a selection of outlet sizes. This cast iron hopper box is produced with a number of embellishments on the face and sides. To discuss personalising this hopper or to find out more about changing outlet sizes and positions, talk to our team.
This cast iron rainwater head is sized at:
505mm wide
180mm deep
167mm high
Some of our cast iron products such as the ornamental rainwater hopper heads and the rectangular and square rainwater pipes are made to order. They are available within the Metal & Glass cast iron range but need to be cast or fabricated with timescales being slightly longer than our off-the-shelf stock products. They can be ordered securely via our website in exactly the same way as ex-stock products. These cast iron made-to-order items are available in both the grey primer and gloss black painted finish.
We can also offer bespoke hoppers to match original designs and adapt existing cast iron hoppers by changing outlet sizes and positions.
What separates Metal & Glass Limited from a number of other cast iron rainwater and soil suppliers is our ability to offer bespoke castings. Using skilled pattern makers and moulders, specialist fabricators and painters and over a century of iron casting experience Metal & Glass Limited can provide bespoke cast iron solutions for your project
We can make bespoke castings to suit any building, ancient or modern, but these skills are most in demand by the conservation, heritage and restoration market. There is no need to resort to the various forms of plastic substitutes. Anything that has been cast in the past, for instance during the Victorian era, we can release. If they could make it back then, we can make it now.
Traditional Cast Iron Foundry Products, Cast Iron Accessories and UK Castings are all from one supplier.
