Our plain deep half-round cast iron guttering is available in 2 widths and offers a deeper profile than the standard common plain half-round guttering. As with all our cast-iron rainwater goods, these profiles are supplied in either a grey primer or gloss black painted finish. Lengths are supplied in 1829mm (6′) lengths and have a socket at one end to allow continuous jointing.
Our plain deep half-round cast iron guttering is for those projects which want to retain the neat half-round profile but require an increased capacity. The plain deep flow guttering is available in two widths which are both 75mm (3") deep. This gives the profile a more pronounced 'U' shape whilst retaining the slender width of the plain half-round gutter.

This is a genuine cast iron rainwater system supplied by a well-established UK foundry. Offering significantly more benefits than the plastic cast iron effect, traditional cast iron products are proven to be versatile, durable, and reliable and these sustainable products continue to meet the changing demands of modern industry.
Cast iron can be recycled indefinitely without any decline in its properties. It is important to stress that the cast iron used in the production of our cast iron gutters and pipes is from genuine recycling, not downcycling where products can be re-used but have inferior properties compared to their original usage.
Cast iron products are legendary for their durability and long life. Never mind a ten-year builders’ guarantee, properly maintained cast iron rainwater products will last the life of a building. Research has shown that the whole life costs of cast iron over a 100-year life cycle are only a fraction of aluminium or PVC, despite the higher capital cost. Cast iron also has a significantly lower impact in terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions than PVC and aluminium. Not only that, but when the building has served its purpose and is eventually demolished the cast iron can be recycled and used again.
