    Product Details

The Plain Deep Half Round nozzle running outlet is designed for use where a downpipe is situated in the middle of a run of guttering. This cast iron outlet has a socket on both sides to allow it to be fitted between guttering with a plain end on each side.

The nozzle outlet, or running outlet as it is sometimes known, forms part of our Plain Deep Half Round cast iron gutters range. With a socket on both sides, this fitting is designed to be located in the main run of the guttering. For outlet positions at the end of a run, the Plain Deep Half Round dropend should be used.

Sizes for the plain deep half-round nozzle outlet are:

4″x3″ = 240mm with the centre of the outlet in the middle at 120mm

5″x3″ = 240mm with the centre of the outlet in the middle at 120mm

The cast iron Plain Deep Half Round nozzle outlet is supplied in either a grey primer or gloss black painted finish.

Cast iron gutters and pipes enhance the appearance of both traditional and contemporary projects whilst providing significant benefits over other rainwater systems. Cast iron guttering, pipes and hopper heads offer unrivalled strength, durability, low operational noise levels, environmental benefits and a lifespan that makes the installation of these products a once-in-a-generation event.

Cast iron can be recycled indefinitely without any decline in its properties. It is important to stress that the cast iron used in the production of our cast iron gutters and pipes is from genuine recycling, not downcycling where products can be re-used but have inferior properties compared to their original usage.

Cast iron products are legendary for their durability and long life. Never mind a ten-year builders’ guarantee, properly maintained cast iron rainwater products will last the life of a building. Research has shown that the whole life costs of cast iron over a 100-year life cycle are only a fraction of aluminium or PVC, despite the higher capital cost. Cast iron also has a significantly lower impact in terms of energy consumption and CO2 emissions than PVC and aluminium. Not only that, but when the building has served its purpose and is eventually demolished the cast iron can be recycled and used again.
