    Stainless Steel Balustrade

    The Metal & Glass Stainless Steel Balustrade and Railing range offers an unbeatable choice of components and is available with or without a handrail system.


    Manufactured to the highest quality standards, the stainless steel system provides a clean, straight, rounded form, offering a timeless classic design.


    Like all Metal & Glass systems, it is quick and easy to install. The handrails and balustrade can be simply installed with gluing, drilling and tapping, without the need for welding.


    Designed for indoor or outdoor use, although please note it is recommend that customers wishing to install our stainless system in an outdoor marine environment should opt for the polished finish hardware to provide additional protection.

    Our stainless steel system can also be used as a Juliet balcony, and we offer a wide range of choices of both material and finish. It is also possible to choose between a bar or glass infill.

    Aluminium Balustrade

    Our Aluminium Balustrade and Railing system is an affordable and lightweight system that allows you to easily create a modern, safe railing.


    Despite its stripped-down looks, the system is more than strong enough to provide a robust terrace or balcony railing. As you would expect of a Metal & Glass balustrade, all M&G Aluminium components are made of high-grade materials and finished to perfection.


    You can order the aluminium parts with a brushed anodised finish, a mill finish or powder-coated. With the latter, you can go for anthracite grey (RAL 7016), which is the standard M&G Aluminium powder-coating, or opt for a bespoke look by choosing any other RAL colour.


    • Highly Customisable Balustrade System

      It is not just the colour of our Aluminium system that can be adapted to your needs and tastes. In fact, you have the freedom to customise just about any aspect of this surprisingly versatile aluminium railing system. The level of individuality you require will determine which of our 3 ordering options is most appropriate for you.

    • 1. READY TO INSTALL MODULES

      With this ordering option, you tell us your project requirements and we supply ready-to-install M&G Aluminium modules that are exactly as specified. We do all the necessary prefabrication for you, plus the entire preassembly process. You receive complete railing sections that are totally custom made, plus matching handrails. All you need to do then is anchor the modules of the aluminium railing to the floor and click the handrails on top.


      As you can imagine, this is appropriate not only for one-off residential projects but also for large-scale developments where it is a major time and money saver.

    • 2. PREFABRICATED SINGLE COMPONENTS

      If you wish to do the preassembly of the aluminium railing modules yourself, in your own workshop, but still want a high level of convenience, ordering prefabricated components is for you. Give us your project requirements and let us do all the preparatory work for you. You will receive components cut, drilled and – if you wish – powder-coated exactly as requested. Simply preassemble them into modules and bring them to the construction site. There, you will anchor them to the floor and click the handrails on top. That is it – balustrade done.

    • 3. STANDARD SINGLE COMPONENTS

      Ordering single components directly from stock is also possible. The components come in standard sizes and finishes but offer the same high quality. The difference is the amount of work you need to do yourself. It is up to you to cut, drill and/or powder-coat the components, preassemble them into complete railing modules and then install them on site.

    Glass Infills installed easily


    The Metal & Glass Aluminium balustrade system has a number of clever features that provide extra convenience during both the preassembly process and the actual installation. One of them is the Glass Wing rubber. While many common glass rubbers for glass railings tend to close up as soon as they are positioned, which makes it difficult to get the glass in, Glass Wing conveniently stays open – that is, until the glass goes in. As soon as the glass infill is inserted, the rubber hugs it. This means you can install the glass quickly and with hardly any pressure but still achieve an ultra-safe end result.

    Easy Alignment of Railing Modules


    Floors are hardly ever perfectly even, but that is not a problem when you are installing an M&G Aluminium railing. With each top-mount baluster base flange, we supply a small levelling block. Simply insert it underneath the flange and you will be able to adjust the alignment of a railing module from the vertical with ease. No need for shimming.

    Frameless Balustrade

     The Metal & Glass Frameless Balustrade is a top-quality lightweight, glass railing system that can actually save you money.


    The innovative design incorporates a revolutionary feature, the Red Dot Design Award winning ‘Q-disc’ System, which enables a fast and simple installation.

    Easy Glass Fixing


    The Q-disc System is a game-changing feature that makes glass fixing super easy: after installing the base shoes, put the special inlays into them, then position your glass and secure the panels by inserting a Q-disc into each inlay. Finally, to tighten the grip on the glass, simply turn the discs clockwise.

    GLASS BALUSTRADES VARIANTS


    Our Frameless Balustrade system is available with four different types of base shoe: top mounted, F-shaped top mounted, fascia mounted, and Y-shaped fascia mounted.


    The Q-disc System, can accommodate glass thicknesses between 12mm to 25.52mm and will allow you to align each individual glass panel by up to 1.2 degrees from the vertical.



    TRIMS FOR SEAMLESS CONNECTIONS


    If you want to create a more seamless connection between a balustrade’s base shoe and adjacent floor or cladding, you can finish the M&G Frameless base shoe with a trim. Simply insert the minimalist aluminium profile on the base shoe’s upper edge. There are trims available for various mounting situations.

    ADDITIONAL CONVENIENCE


    The drill holes in the base shoes have tolerances that make it easier to carry out installation on uneven floors. In addition, you have a broad choice of possible anchors for fixing the base shoes to the floor.

    

    Moreover, the design uses markings and a clicking sound to signal correct installation. And finally, you can do all the installation work from the inner side of the balcony railing – there is no need for scaffolding.



    THE WIDEST JULIET BALCONIES ON THE MARKET


    Our Frameless balustrade can also be used to create a Juliet balcony. When combining regular balconies with Juliets on the facade, this is a perfect solution for ensuring that they match. Moreover, the base channel allows you to plan wider Juliet balconies than most systems on the market.

    LED-LIT GLASS RAILINGS


    One way to give your Frameless glass balustrade a different style or extra safety would be to add an LED-lit handrail. Our range of lights offer solutions for handrails with spotlights as well as linear LED strips.
